Adult Education

Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine promotes Life Long Learning for all so a wide variety of classes in all relevant areas are provided for.

There are four main areas which classes are provided in: -

Leisure Classes

Computing and IT classes

Skills classes and Languages

Subject Type Classes

Leisure Classes include Aerobics, Yoga, Golf, Badminton, Basketball, Keep Fit, Dance and Mime, etc.

Computing and IT classes include Microsoft Academy IC3  , E.C.D.L., Beginners Computers, Intermediate Computers, Internet and E-mail, Presentation (Power Point), Desktop Publishing, Web design, etc.

Skills classes include Welding, Wood Turning, Pottery, Art, Craft, Cookery, etc.

Language and Subject Type Classes include German, French, Irish Conversation, Spanish, and Leaving Certificate English.

Classes in BTEI (Back to Education Initiative) provide part-time Further Education programmes for young people and adults. The aim of the classes is to people an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities.

Special talks and Classes are also arranged for parents on request.
